of bring ones products to the net was not very prominent as an idea. Companies were in the traditional mode of getting their
products to market. The Internet was thought of as an instrument for providing information; The information was usually of
an academic nature. It wasn’t until the late nineties that the net caught on as a instrument for consumerism.
Now that it has become that instrument every company out there who markets products and
services know that the Internet is the vehicle that will take them to their future as reputable and completive companies.
They are aware that in order to compete they will have to make their selves known on the net. Any company who markets products
and services, products and services that are their life will have to be marketed on the net. The consumer will always demand
that choice. That is what all consumerism about really the ability to make choices. And one of those choices is the one that
lets the consumer chose where they buy their products.
And that’s not a bad choice. That’s basically reality. As the worlds consumer
market develops consumers will have more choices than ever in how to buy their products and services,. That in turn will produce
a much better product, because the marketer will always have to produce a product that the consumer demands, or insist to
be of top quality.
